Why people blog? That’s a question I want to know since I started blogging and now I found my answer. Blogging has been on the rise since I don’t know really when but I’m guessing about 2003 when people and companies started blogging regularly. I think there are about 2 million blogs right now trying to show their content to almost 2 billion users around the world. 2 billion internet users, that’s how big is the market online. Each one of them has a chance to see what you got to say or what product or service you are trying to sell. All you have to do is do your part in building your own blog, put a nice content and spread the word and people will come.
I just started blogging 7 months ago and my main reasons initially were to share my thoughts and interesting things I’ve found on the internet. I also want to learn about internet marketing and the ins and out of blogging and of of course why people blog.
During the brief 7 months, I learned a lot of things about blogging. I want to enumerate these things so its easier to read and understand.
1. Pleasure – People gets satisfaction in blogging. It’s like Facebook or Twitter where you can say/share almost anything you want but just much better in blogging.
2. Promoting own business – Got something to sell? Any service to market? People found blogging is the best way to spread the word out and it works.
3. Make Money – Many personal blogs are making money one way or the other. Either they’re earning money from advertisements in their blog or writing paid post. Some people can sell their services or products from their own blog.
4. Work – Companies, big and small are also into blogging. Employees do the blogging for their company and its now part of their job duties.
5. Paid blogs – People also do blogging for a fee. You can hire professional bloggers to do the work for you. Either they do the whole blog including the design and everything or just write articles for you.
Whatever reason you have you got yourself into blogging, all I can say is blogging is hard work. It is not easy and never will. So why do you blog?

I mainly blog for pleasure personally. It actually relaxes me the way writing stresses out some people. It’s odd I guess.
I see blogs without ads so I guess these blogs are for pleasure like yours.

I know myself, I blog for a combination of the four above. My poetry blog is pure pleasure and is my artistic release, my technology blog is also for fun but is my primary blog for trying to make money and promote my online identity. My personal blog is my diary and a mix of the two.

Can be used in helping those needy moms to perhaps setup an online business. Perhaps you can provide tutorials on your site to get them started or setup a program that has connections to your blog & Ebay.
I started my blog because I am interested in ebook readers. I truly think that they are the wave of the future and that we will be routinely using this type of device to read our daily newspapers and magazines. I have also monetized my blog, although I have earned very little so far during this first 3 months.

I have total 3 blogs, one personal and two officials. On my personal blog I blog for money as well as to increase my community, I always ask my friends to participate in my blog and share their knowledge by posting a blog. Official blogs are just to get high traffic so that i can divert them to my site.
I blog to oblige myself to learn about the things I’m interested. I made an seo blog although I’m still a noob to share the things I learn and had a copy of my own progress too. I made a tech related blog to make myself updated with the things I love and passionate about. That’s just simple it is.
