What’s Hot on YouTube – Lakers vs Suns

The Lakers are battling the Suns in this years Western Conference Finals in the NBA. But this video clip was back in 2006 when the Lakers met the Suns in the first round of Western Conference playoffs series.

Kobe Bryant made a looping runner with seven-tenths of a second left in the fourth quarter to force overtime, and a 17-footer as time expired to lift the Lakers to an improbable 99-98 victory over the Suns and a 3-1 lead in the first-round Western Conference playoff series. I’ve watched this clip many times but it still gives me goosebumps every time. Kobe Bryant surely will go down in history as one of the greatest NBA closer of all time.

Love it! Doesn’t get any better than that finish. We tend to collect favorites on our YouTube channel. If you are a sports fan, Knute Rockne’s speech is one of our favorites. ;)

I don’t like the Lakers any more than Kobe. There is no doubt he is an excellent player and will go down NBA history as one of the greatest. I just can’t stand his style. Thankfully Phoenix got through just as I predicted since day 1 of the playoffs. Once again these 2 teams meet in the NBA finals. Hope the Suns get it this time. :P

Kinda random, but heck, this blog is “Nothing But Random” right? :) On the topic of the Lakers, they lost tonight! :( If Kobe would have scored a few points in the first quarter perhaps things would be different, eh?

Well there you go. Phoenix bowed down to the might of LA in the end, 4-2, like so many predicted. I would have wished at least the Suns managed to reach 7th game even if the Lakers still won but why prolong the agony? *sighs* LA again, sheessh! Now I’m cheering for Boston. Nevah LA Lakers, NEVAH! Hehehe… sorry I’m not against you ZXT, I’m against the LA team. :D

Pretty awesome to relive these moments again, highly surprised though that it is still on youtube, usually the NBA doesn’t like their videos on their for some reason…

YouTube has turned into something awful IMHO. Whenever you upload a song or a video belonging to some big company, it immediately gets removed.

That’s not how the Internet works, for gods sake! Good luck cleaning everything up.

And to the companies; why don’t you guys just say thanks to the users sharing all your content? That’s some free marketing right there.

    /Ronnie.
