Kobe Bryant undeniably one of the best basketball player in the NBA if not the world. I’ve been a Kobe fan since Michael Jordan retired for the first time and Kobe never disappoints me. He is the best closer in the NBA and been a clutch shooter for many years now. This NBA season, the past 10 games or so, he made 3 game winning buzzer beater baskets and 2 of those are 3 pointers.

This weeks What’s Hot on YouTube is all about Kobe’s buzzer beaters the last 30 days.  I’d like to share YouTube video clips of those 3 game winning baskets which are all amazing and so Jordanesque.

First clip was on December 04, 2009 vs Dwayne Wade and The Heat. Lakers ball, 3.2 seconds to go. Kobe got the inbound pass and the Heat blocked the path to the basket so Kobe had nowhere to go but away from the basket with time fast running out. He jumped sideways and with Wade’s hand on to his face, he throws a hail Mary shot that goes the glass and swoosh with no time left. Lakers win!

Second clip was vs The Bucks on December 16, 2009 with 5.4 seconds to go and Lakers ball. Lekers inbound at the back court straight to Kobe’s hand and he slowly creep in inside the arc and did his patented turn around shot and wins it with no time left. Raja Bell did all he could do to stick to Kobe’s body to no avail.

Third clip was on New Year’s day vs Kings. With 4.1 seconds to go, again Lakers ball and Kings up by 2 points. Gasol got the inbound pass and Kobe faked a play a got freed behind the arc and released the ball with .1 second left and nail the three. It was one of the closest buzzer beater in the NBA.
