During Europe’s NLB championship game, a Croatian player hits a shot with 0.6 seconds left in the game to give his team the lead. Everyone goes crazy and starts celebrating, 0.6 seconds too soon. Then the other team goes crazier after their player hit a championship shot from the other side of the court.
Not till the fat lady sings
Sucks to be the losing team. No one was even 30 feet near the player who made the shot. The losing team could played defense for the last .6 of the sec to win the game but instead they celebrated and just watched as the ball went in.
The lesson is, never assume you won until the game is over.
