I think its a good stuff using top commentators for getting not only traffic but one can also visit the different followers who are getting some benefit by top commentators.

My blog is also DoFollow, but right now I’m also considering adding a TOP COMMENTATORS plugin, I’ll however wait a bit more until it gets sufficient traffic.

Howdy, i read your blog occasionally and i own a similar one and i was just wondering if you get a lot of spam comments? If so how do you prevent it, any plugin or anything you can advise? I get so much lately it’s driving me mad so any assistance is very much appreciated.

Nice to see you here Julie. To get rid of the default nofollow you need to install a dofollow plug in which you can find it here http://www.semiologic.com/software/dofollow/

The effect of a do follow blog is you encourage people to comment because they know they will get something back. Of course you need a good article in the first place. Check out commentluv and keywordluv plug ins too as it will help you get more comments.
