Today I stumbled upon a community news about a giveaway of 60+ premium WordPress themes from 14+ providers. I immediately went to the contest page to check it out. To my amazement, I saw big names like Studiopress, Woothemes, Elegantthemes together with other top notch premium theme providers being the joint sponsors of the contest. Who is Themegrade that makes majority of the leading developers to want to support the site? I decided to research Themegrade more and I think I found the reason.
Themegrade is not an ordinary WordPress theme directory site. It is the only site that I have seen which does a fantastic job in reviewing WordPress themes in such a big scale. There are more than 600 themes already tested in the general and SEO category. These tests are all very objective with either a “yes” or “no” result. When the test is completed, the system will generate score for the theme. Themes with a total score of 60% will get at least bronze status. Have you seen any sites out there perform a test like that?
Since my blog is PR 3 (you are the sure winner if your blog is PR2 and above), I am glad to have won a theme from Studiopress. Only about 10+ themes have been won and I am sure you’ll win yourself a dream theme if your are a valid participant. Go get the theme now!

and the most important thing is that the theme are free ^^
Yes there are free themes out there just like what I’m using right now. But premium themes I think is much better in general.
