Online Coupons

I was thinking of what to write then I remember I’ve created this blog to share my frugal ways (not all the time) of living. I decided to share some online coupons I’ve found on the internet. I am pretty sure almost everyone bought something online one way or the other so you might find this post useful and save some moolah!

Whenever I need to buy something, I always check out a few online stores and share their prices including shipping cost if any. Some offer lower prices but charge a higher shipping fee and some priced their goods higher but offer free shipping. So don’t forget about the shipping cost and also check for the reputation of the store so you won’t get a hard time returning the item if you need to. So let me share some of these stores I’ve used in the past and their online coupons or excellent deals to maximize your savings.

Best Buy is known for online source for electronics, televisions, DVD players, home audio, car audio, computers, cameras, music, movies, software, GPS, video games and many more. I’ve bought a ‘ve bcouple of things with Best Buy before and both times arrived in time. I found this excellent 50% off deal with Best Buy from my favorite coupon site I mentioned in my Big Savings article. A 50 percent off is just hard to let it pass. So I suggest check it out to see if you can afford that 5.1 surround speakers you’ve always wanted.

Onesuite has been in the prepaid long distance business for more than a decade now. They have phone card, VoIP, online fax, forwarding, toll free number services. Our family has been using Onesuite prepaid service for around 5 years and we are satisfied with the quality and connection. They got a new promo that gives additional 15% Onesuite bonus for those who will sign up between now and June o1, 2010. Just use the promo code OSNEW15 to get the bonus.

Carparts is one of the pioneer in selling car parts online. Back in 1999 when I still have my 300ZX turbo (hence my handle ZXT), Carparts.com was my savior. Their prices are very competitive and they ship items fast. Get Free shipping on orders $39 and above when you use the coupon code “save” without the quotes, this is a recurring offer. Also a 10% discount will be given if you use DAD10 coupon code, valid until May 31, 2010.

These are just a few examples of online stores I’ve used in the past but I purchased some items in ebay, Amazon, JCPenney too. My point is, you can save a lot more by researching for discount codes first and googling for online coupons before purchasing that computer parts or services you need. You’ll get more value for your money by spending 10 minutes on Google.

  1. You’re exactly right — a bit of time spent on search engines goes a long way. Electronics especially have a ton of coupons and deals on the ‘net. Glad you’ve been able to save!

Tried that Best Buy coupon but too bad it only applies to certain things. I thought it was some secret coupon where you could get 50% off of anything from Best Buy! Now THAT would be a great online coupon!

  6. Coupons are always awesome, no doubt about it. It’s really wise to not buy at once and wait for that good coupon so you can save bundles. Just make sure not to buy something just for the sake of using a coupon.

  7. I have used best buy services and its products are goods. Thanks for sharing this coupons.

  10. Some nice tips you have here, one of the best tips you give is to check the reputation of any business!!!

A little while back I bought some car parts online, when they arrived there were completely different from the ones I had chosen. When I contacted them They said that they must have sent out the wrong parts by mistake, and that they no longer stock the parts that I had originally requested!?!?!

Starting to get a little concerned about this I then looked them up on line and found a few forum post with other people having similar experiences. I guess this is something that I should have done before hand (live and learn eh!).

I did send the items back and eventually got a refund but still had to pay for the cost of sending the items back to them, not cheap either as you might imagine with car parts.

Yeah you are right, that’s why I check the reviews or forums first if there’s a reported issue with the online merchant first before purchasing anything.

Coupons are great. I don’t see why some people try to place shame on the people using them. Coupons are one of the best parts of the Sunday Newspaper.

  12. Craig from Free Freebies says:

Thanks although I’m a little late for these. It’s probably a good thing since every time I find a good coupon I end up buying things I don’t really need.

I haven’t left home to buy a major purchase in years without first checking online. Who wants to drive around to a bunch of stores? With some stuff tho I just have to touch stuff. Gotta say when I first logged on here I thought I’d made a mistake. My main site which is about meditation and spirituality uses this theme. You’ve got a nice site here. Hee hee. Mine is http://www.newperspectivetoday.com if you ever want to check it out.

  20. Jane from sell music online says:

I hear that sometimes “outlets” use name brands with cheaper parts. A way to tell is to check the product number from the more expensive product. If there is a number difference, then your product is cheaper because it was made cheaper.
