Okay I don’t intend to do this every month but I guess you can’t blame a new blogger celebrating his first few months would you? A couple of days ago marked the 2 months my blog has been in existence. So far I’m getting regular visits from fellow bloggers and also constant new visits from other bloggers. Commenting to other blogs brings the referrals in and so far, referrals is my blog’s biggest sources of traffic at 51%. The past 10 days or so I’ve seldom made any comments on different blogs and my referral traffic gone down a bit. Still, my over all traffic is an improvement from last month.
Here are the stats for my blog for 2 months.

Visits: 2,751
Unique visitors: 1,823
Ave. time on site: 3:19
Bounce rate: 65%

Traffic Sources
1. Referrals – 51%
2. Direct Traffic – 26%
3. Search Engines – 23%
Today I’ve read at Een Rockstar blog that Google just updated its Page Rank. Because my blog just turned 2 months old and Google usually updates it Page Rank every 3 to 4 months, I decided to check my blog. I am not expecting anything but I am wishing I can get at least a PR1. Well I am very surprised that my 2 month old blog got a Page Rank 3. I think its some kind of achievement getting a PR 3 for a 2 month old blog managed by a newbie blogger. Now getting past a PR3 probably much much harder.
BTW, most popular post in my blog is about Crop Circles and most visits that comes to my blog are from United States, Philippines and U.K.
Alexa Ranking also improved and it’s now 256,176 and I’m targeting the 100k mark before the end of the year. I would like to thank the blogs that share very good tips like SiteSketch101, Blogengage, ExtremeJohn and TechZoomin not to mention the traffic they send to my blog. So for two months I’ve learned a lot and the number one thing to get going is to go read and leave a comment to other blogs and usually the blog owners will give you a visit followed by some of their visitors too.

Yes Blaine, I get good amount of comments from my monthly report/stats posts. I think we all are interested in seeing stats or our fellow bloggers and maybe we can get a pointer here and there. I’m targeting Alexa 100,000 mark by the end of the year but its getting harder and harder to move now. For my PR, I don’t mind not moving up at PR3 but I will try not to go back to less PR’s.
