I’ve been planning to get my own domain name for a couple of years now and finally tonight I did it. I Googled “best hosting services” and the first link says Top Hosting Services showing Host Monster at the top. I’ve checked it and saw that Blue Host is their parent company.

I decided to go with Blue Host, basically the same company as Host Monster. The hosting service comes with a free domain and my blog would typically have random thoughts and entries so I chose nothingbutrandom.com dmaoin name. On BlueHost cPanel, there’s already an option to install Wordpress and I quickly browsed themes from WordPress Theme Directory, installed one I like and here I am writing my first post.

I’m a brand new blogger so please take it easy on my blog entries.
