I am proud to tell you guys that this article improved it’s Google ranking to 2nd position from 3rd (for the past 10 months) for the keywords “Alexa Ranking Tips” or “Alexa Rank Tips”

All great suggestions. Another method of improving Alexa rank is to write about the topics that people are searching Alexa for. If you have the Alexa toolbar installed then you will see current trends (similar to Google trends) if any of these fit your niche, write about them asap so that you can attract Alexa toolbar users to your site.

Wow, nice tips there! I always thought that Alexa just measures your traffic and then gives you a rank number according to that. Didn’t know that you could influence it with those tips. Thanks for the info.

I find it quiet funny that many people still think that Alexa rankings affect your page rank after all Alexa rankings can be manipulated and so can not see the likes of Google being so easily fooled.

When I started my new blog, the alexa was 27M. I tried to post 3-5 articles a week,and go blogwalking and commenting. And in about 3 weeks, the alexa had raised significantly to 3M. However, after it had reach 2,8M, the progress was very low. In 2 weeks after that I only made about 200k progress, even if I posted more than 7 articles a week.
Anybody can explain me this? Thanks
